By registering on Picalias, you fully accept this policy. We are committed to safeguarding your privacy and ensuring responsible use of your data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

We collect the following data when you register or use our services:

  • Username and email address

  • IP address and browsing data

  • Stripe Connect account information (if linked)

  • Content created or uploaded to the platform

We also use tools such as Google Analytics strictly for statistical and technical performance purposes. This information is processed in an aggregated and anonymous manner, and is not used to personally identify users.

We do not collect or store any credit card numbers. All payments are securely processed through Stripe, our payment gateway, and executed instantly within Stripe’s internal system.

 

3. Use of Data

We use your data solely for the following purposes:

  • Managing your user account

  • Providing content creation and publishing services

  • Enabling the buying and selling of content

  • Preventing abuse, fraud, or violations of our policies

  • Ensuring proper technical operation of the platform

Picalias does not sell, share, or transfer your data to third parties for commercial purposes.

 

4. Storage and Security

Your data and content are stored on secure servers managed through private infrastructure provided by Cloudflare and Wasabi, both of which maintain high security standards. Only authorized technical staff at Picalias have access to these systems.

We apply appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent unauthorized access, data loss, or misuse.

 

5. Data Deletion Upon Account Closure

When a user requests account deletion, Picalias will permanently remove:

  • Their personal data

  • All generated or uploaded content

  • Files stored in our private Cloudflare and Wasabi buckets

This deletion process is automated and secure. Although minor network or system latency may occur, all data is erased within 24 hours. We reserve an additional period of up to 30 days to ensure that no residual data remains.

 

6. User Rights

As a user, you have the right to:

  • Access your personal data

  • Request correction or deletion of your data

  • Object to the processing of your data

  • Request data portability

7. International Data Transfers

Our storage providers (Cloudflare and Wasabi) comply with applicable European data protection regulations. We do not transfer user data outside the legal framework established by the GDPR.
